Zarina Karapetyan · Soft Air
$6,000
Description
Soft Air is inspired by Rorschach blots and incorporates the metamorphic pattern that moves throughout the Soft Gravity collection. Together, these elements create a cloud-like scene that pulls the viewer through a mirror-like dimension, gradually forming into a tangible landscape of clouds.
The scene is anchored by two mosaic butterfly pattern windows on the left and right, creating a sense of structure within the shifting imagery. While the work carries a psychological quality, the viewer remains grounded in a sense of reality. Even within the intensity of the pull into this imagined space, there is an underlying feeling of safety, and a place that is unfamiliar yet strangely comforting.
