About Twelve Thirty Four

Twelve Thirty Four is a floral design studio and gallery on Swiss Avenue in Dallas, founded in 2016. Nature, art, and design intersect with made-to-order floral compositions, intimately experienced hospitality, and the curation of original work by independent artists and makers.

Our name refers to the four stages shared by all things living: birth, growth, renewal, and release. Beauty lives in every season. Not in spite of its impermanence, but because of it. Every arrangement, exhibition, and object shares this idea at Twelve Thirty Four. At Swiss Avenue, you’ll experience seasonal floral compositions alongside ceramic vessels by Chase Gamblin, sculpture by Daniel Scoggins, jewelry by Elizabeth Hooper, and a rotation of work by artists who commit to the handmade.

Twelve Thirty Four designs for Burberry, Versace, Louis Vuitton, and Tod’s, and creates floral installations for the Ritz-Carlton and Four Seasons. We work with private clients, corporations, wedding parties, and cultural institutions; open by appointment for your consultations, commissions, and private experiences.

Patricio Rivera, Founder & Creative Director

Patricio Rivera, Founder & Creative Director

Patricio Rivera grew-up surrounded by the landscape of Honduras, dense, alive, overwhelming in beauty. That closeness to nature has shaped everything.

After studying fashion in California, Rivera moved to Dallas to focus years in the restaurant and hospitality industry as a visual director, developing an understanding for how space holds people, how light, texture, and arrangement make someone feel before words are spoken.

He harnessed these sensibilities to establish Twelve Thirty Four in 2016. In his studio, each composition is designed in unique response to the client, the season, and the stems available, sourced from growers in Holland, South America, and Asia. Most every morning, Rivera is at the flower market before dawn to select what the day becomes.

And, Rivera’s vision for Twelve Thirty Four extends beyond florals, into a platform for artists and craftspeople intersecting guests and patrons under creative education and private experience, bound by conversation. This traditional spirit of genuine salon lives here on Swiss Avenue.
