Hand-pinched porcelain vessel by Giselle Hicks — "Mottled Black Quad Zigzag." Each piece is coiled and pinched using few tools, yielding dynamic silhouettes with an opaque matte glaze that is soft to the touch. Fingerprints remain in the surface, celebrating the handmade.
Hicks is a ceramic artist based in Helena, Montana. Her work is inspired by iconic forms throughout ceramic history and the still lifes of Giorgio Morandi. She holds an MFA from Alfred University and has exhibited at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, the Kohler Art Center, and the Bellevue Art Museum.
Delivery & Returns
Local delivery is available throughout the Dallas area for floral arrangements and living plants. Same-day and next-day options are available subject to timing and availability.
Non-perishable items, including ceramics, objects, jewelry, and candles, ship domestically via USPS, UPS, or FedEx. Standard delivery is 5–7 business days; expedited is 2–3 business days. International shipping is available on select items. Rates are calculated at checkout.
Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days. Custom and made-to-order pieces may require additional time.
All floral arrangements, living plants, gallery art, and custom work are final sale. Objects, ceramics, candles, jewelry, and accessories are eligible for exchange or store credit within 14 days, provided items are unused and in original condition with packaging intact. Earrings are final sale. We do not offer monetary refunds.

Gifts arrive in a hand-sewn bag crafted from recycled paper by our partners in Mexico City, finished in the signature green of our Swiss Avenue studio. Each bag is fully reusable and designed to be kept. Presentation may vary for select items.
